This delicious wine features notes of blueberry pie, ripe plum, clove, vanilla, and orange blossom. Sourced from StoneTree Vineyard, in the Wahluke Slope, The Informant, was aged 19 months on 56% new French oak. Wine Enthusiast: 92. I craved dessert after inhaling The Informant's rich blackberry and date milkshake aromas. In a dramatic gearshift, the wine's massive tannic structure is anything but creamy, with my roughed up mouth processing flavors like blackberries, powdered sugar and roasted pork belly. What a wild ride.
