Rum aged in American white oak barrels with a high roasting temperature, carefully selected by master coopers. Later filtered in authentic Onyx stones, which give it the mysticism that characterizes it. Another addition to Ron Barceló's already exceptional collection of rums comes Barceló Imperial Onyx from the Dominican Republic. Made up of a blend of rums aged for 10 years in heavily charred bourbon casks, this expression was filtered through onyx stones (hence the name) prior to bottling. Each production stage makes for a rich and complex rum.
