This lovely value is from the Rhone Valley. It is part of the Cellier des Dauphins collection of wines which are produced by a group of winegrowers called “Union des Vignerons des Côtes du Rhône” and is composed of winegrower families of the southern Rhone Valley. We get red and dark berry fruit on the nose with classic Rhone white pepper and earth. The palate bursts with fruit: blackberries, red plums and black cherries, as well as dried Provencal herbs, black and white pepper. Earthy minerality and chalky tannins finish, smoothed out by 20 to 30 minutes of air.
