BASTILLE 1789 Single Malt is made from 100% malted barley. It received a double distillation in a Charentais still and was aged in three second-life barrels (Sauternes, Burgundy wine, Sherry) to ensure the best aging. The barrels have been carefully blended to create a delicate, flavorful and unique Whisky. APPEARANCE. Magnificent clear and amber color. NOSE. Sublime and with very good aromatic intensity. Subtle notes of exotic fruits, candied citrus fruits, sweet spices, chocolate, undergrowth and a slight touch of leather. The evolution of the bouquet is long and very refined. A seductive persistence. TASTE. Fine, voluminous starter with a beautiful signature of sweet spices combined with more fruity and woody notes. A superb balance combining richness and deliciousness of the aromatic palette described on the nose. The finish is straight, slightly peaty, voluptuous and persistent.
