La Quercia is located in the town of Morro d’Oro in the small province of Teramo. Protected on one side by the Adriatic sea and the Apennine Mountains on the other, this beautiful little pocket of Abruzzo is perfect climate for growing crisp, lush Pecorino grapes. Winemaker Antonio Lamona has been cultivating organic vines here since the late 60s, a practice he is passionately dedicated to. This unoaked wine is energetic and fresh, with delightful aromas of stone fruit, tangerine, and a subtle herbal note. On the palate we get a touch round white fruit and lemon pith, with a bright acidity and sea-salty salinity that makes for an incredibly clean finish.
